Bob Ochs is a Jesuit who worked with Claudio Naranjo in the 70's, and instigated the enthusiasm for the Enneagram among Jesuits. He is also a man not usually given to blind faith or superstition. It was Bob who first told me about the Tibetan oracle: "when the iron bird flys..."
I've since questioned the oracle myself. The reference to the iron bird may or not be to an airplane.
In any case the Dharma has arrived in the West.
